Welcome to Dhamma Rasa

Dhamma Rasa (Nectar of Dhamma) is the name given to a new long course centre located in the lush sub-tropical Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Queensland, Australia.

This will be the first dedicated Vipassana long course centre in the southern hemisphere, serving the Asia-Pacific region and the world.

The magnificent 40-acre property, perfectly suited for a long course centre, was purchased in January this year and is located right next to Dhamma Rasmi, an established Vipassana centre in the town of Pomona, north of Brisbane. The new long course centre will draw on the invaluable support and experience of the adjacent centre.

This centre is in early stages of development, with plans to submit a Development Application to local council this year. Eventually, like other dedicated long course centres, Dhamma Rasa will hold Special 10-day, 20-day, 30-day, 45-day and 60-day courses for old students. In the meantime, regular one-day courses and work periods have been scheduled while planning for the centre’s development continues.

Donations and loans are welcome to commence the development of Dhamma Rasa.

The benefits of this new long course centre, for many in the future, are immeasurable.
