The Gift of Dhamma

Sabbadanam dhammadanam jinati sabbarasam dhammaraso jinati sabbaratim dhammarati jinati tanhakkhayo sabbadukkham jinati.

The gift of the Dhamma excels all gifts; the taste of the Dhamma excels all tastes; delight in the Dhamma excels all delights;
the eradication of craving overcomes all suffering.

Dhammapada, XXIV.21 (354)

Giving dana (donations)

According to the tradition of pure Dhamma, all courses are conducted solely on a donation basis. Giving dana or donations helps to develop the qualities of selflessness and generosity while growing the centre and the Dhamma for the benefit of others.

Everyone has different means and circumstances, but even a small donation reflects your desire to help someone else to learn Dhamma. These donations are the only source of funding for Vipassana courses in this tradition.

The teachers, trustees, centre management and all other servers do not receive any payment for their service. The spread of Dhamma therefore occurs with purity, free from any commercialism.

Donations to Dhamma Rasa’s Building Fund, for the development of the centre, are tax deductible. Donations to the General Fund, used for general expenses, are NOT tax deductible.

Donations from old students as well as from members of the general public are welcome.
